Instructions and rider information for the 5th ‘Red Rat Rampage’
Mountain Bike Challenge Sunday 21st September 2025
PLEASE READ ALL THE INFORMATION BELOW BEFORE THE EVENT
**REGISTRATION for the BLACK/LONG route IS OPEN FROM 8.30am - 9am
(ALL pre entered riders FIRST PLEASE)
IT IS IMPORTANT THEY DEPART FIRST!! THERE IS A CUT OFF POINT AT RAMSLEY reservoir – see map.
ALL riders MUST REGISTER & collect a RIDER NUMBER & fix it to their bike
RED/MEDIUM route riders can register BETWEEN at 9am & 9.30am
RIDERS WHO HAVE NOT PRE-ENTERED MAY ENTER ON THE DAY but only AFTER PRE-ENTERED RIDERS HAVE REGISTERED BY PAYING THE FEE OF £40 +£1 completing rider info & a collecting a ride.
REGISTRATION IS LOCATED in the Pavilion next to the car park & public toilets on Hawkhill Rd. Eyam, Derbyshire S32 5QP
BLUE route riders are requested to register from 10am until 11am
PARKING: IS FREE in the larger dirt surfaced car park just above the smaller TARMAC surface 'Pay & Display' car park next to the ROUND BUILDING THAT ARE THE PUBLIC TOILETS.
You will be given your event number and cable ties or string to attach it to your bike
PLEASE BRING Change for a TEA/COFFEE/CORDIAL - ALL DRINKS ARE £2.00
REMEMBER THIS IS NOT A RACE!
Please do not jeopardise the safety of other road & trail users & the future of this event.
VERY IMPORTANT - Completion of the course and notification of your whereabouts:
Upon completion of the course you MUST sign in at the finish & return your number for your soup!!
We must know you have finished safely - Failure to do so may result in the emergency services being called.
If you do not complete the course & do not return to the finish you MUST inform the organisers.
